Your data and how we use it.
What we store, why we store it, who processes it and how to remove it - in plain language.
What we collect
Account information
Your name and email address. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider (Supabase Auth); we never see or store your password.
Pet records
What you choose to add: your pet's name, species, breed, date of birth, microchip number and vaccination history. We use it to plan and check your trip.
Trip details
Origin, destination, travel date, airline and travel mode. Pawlo and the rules engine use these to build your trip plan and deadlines.
Documents you upload
Vaccination certificates, health certificates and lab results. They are stored privately in your account and checked automatically by AI, which sends the file to Anthropic. See Document privacy for the details.
Conversations with Pawlo
Your messages and Pawlo's replies, so you can come back to them. Pawlo's answers are generated with Anthropic's AI models.
Usage data
Standard server logs from our hosting providers, and a small set of first-party product events (for example, which help page was opened) that contain identifiers only - no document content, messages or email addresses.
Who processes your data
Supabase
Hosts our database, sign-in and private file storage.
Vercel
Hosts the website and the app's server.
Anthropic
Runs Pawlo's answers and the automated document check. Uploaded documents are sent to Anthropic for that check.
Stripe
Processes trip payments on its own checkout page. We do not receive or store your card number.
Meta
When our Meta Pixel is enabled, the marketing pages and the checkout confirmation page send page-view and sign-up or purchase events to Meta to measure our ads. Your pet records, trips and documents are never sent.
What we never do
We never sell your data. We never share your pet records, trips or documents with advertisers. We never use your documents for anything other than your trip.
Your rights
Export
Settings → Data & Privacy downloads a copy of your email address, pets, trips, tasks and the list of your documents.
Delete a document
Delete any document from the Documents page - the record and the stored file are removed.
Delete your account
Settings → Data & Privacy deletes your account, your records and your stored documents.

How we protect your data
The app is served over HTTPS. Documents live in a private storage bucket that only your account can reach, and the app opens them through links that expire after one hour. Two-factor authentication is available in Settings → Security. Admin views of user accounts and trips are logged.
